Some advertisers tout the effectiveness of social as a result of the viral, pass-along nature of the medium through sharing. However, in a media world where paid media exposure is still king, most media planners and buyers don’t know the tools that are out there to measure social, what the metrics should be, and how to integrate their findings into other measurement tools. This session will not only identify those tools, but also answer questions such as: how easy is it to measure second and third degree of exposure? Are advertisers taking these metrics into account for reach and frequency, or are they simply trying to measure engagement? And can it serve all those masters?
