Comparing 3G Consumption Across Networks and Geographies
Posted February 07, 2006 at 04:17 PM by Analyst

In addition to announcing our European subsidiary, the press release we issued today draws examines mobile content consumption across both geographies and networks. With 3GSM, arguably the largest mobile show in the world, taking place next week, we examined the impact that fast 3G networks have on consumer likelihood to consume mobile content, particularly multimedia content that is best viewed on a speedy network. The result is that 3G consumers are far more likely to consume all kinds of mobile content, even the types that work just fine on low-tech networks, like text messaging.

We can also shed light on a popular topic of debate in the industry, which always takes place at 3GSM: Just how far behind are the Americans from Europeans?

The answer: The United States is catching up. For more info, check out the release we issued today.
